If you want to try using an RTA that produces a lot of smoke,
get this and give it a try.
You’ll be intoxicated by the rich liquid and smooth mist.
Be careful not to chain smoke and run out of liquid in no time(*’✒)
Iâve been using the Blaze Solo 2 RTA for a few weeks now and Iâm really impressed. Installing the coil is easy thanks to the user-friendly deck â everything fits nicely and thereâs plenty of space even for thicker wires. The airflow is smooth and delivers excellent flavor, especially with fruity liquids. Big plus for how quiet it is â no whistling at all.
Build quality is top-notch, everything fits perfectly, no leaking, and itâs easy to take apart for cleaning. It also looks great on a mod â solid but not oversized.
In my opinion, one of the best single coil RTAs at this price point. If youâre looking for a flavorful, reliable everyday vape â definitely worth it.

A long-awaited explosive build
I haven’t used a high-smoke Rebuildable Atomizer recently, so this SOLO2 RTA really impressed me.
It’s an RBA that’s incredibly easy to build, and experienced vapers won’t go wrong with it.
But the simplicity doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a rich flavor. Because it’s a single coil, you don’t need a high-output, high-spec mod to use it, so it’s a great choice for those new to RBAs.

Iâve always had a soft spot for single coil RTAs. Less fuss, less power, more finesseâlike a sharp cheese or a well-aged coil jig. So, when the Blaze SOLO2 RTA, designed by Mike Vapes, trotted into my mailbox courtesy of ThunderCloud Creations, I didnât just nibbleâI chomped.
𧱠First Impressions & Build Quality
The matte black version looks absolutely premiumânone of that fingerprint-magnet gloss, just clean, stealthy elegance. I love that TCC stuck with a full-metal presentation, and the included 510 stand is a nice little touch.
Build quality? Rock-solid. Threading is smooth, machining is top-notch, and the deckâwell, weâll get to that delicious little engineering marvel in a second.
đ§ Build Deck & Coil Fitment
This RTA features what they call a U-Shaped Postless Build Deck with full surrounding airflow. Itâs one of the nicest decks Iâve seen in a single coil tankâbut take note, kids: your coil must sit below the top line of the airflow recurve. If it peeks over, even a hair? Youâre getting a short. Ask me how I know. (No, donât. Iâm still bitter.)
And they slapped. Honestly, Iâm impressed. These coils heat evenly, install like a dream, and work beautifully with the Blaze SOLO2âs airflow design.
Wicking was done using MV Pro Shoelace Cotton, also provided by TCC. It wicked flawlessly, no dry hits, no fuss. This cotton is thick, fluffy, and handles chain-vaping like a champ.
đŹïž Airflow & Performance
This is where the SOLO2 truly shines. For a top-airflow RTA, the flavour is surprisingly intense. Top and side honeycomb airflow combine to create 122 precision inlets feeding a true top-to-bottom airflow pathâand itâs completely leak-proof.
Not just good for a top airflow tank. This thing outperforms some dual-coil setups Iâve tried recently. Flavour is dense, smooth, and layeredâespecially with dessert-style blends and cream-heavy mixes.
Draw is smooth and quiet, not turbulent, and the airflow control ring is firm but responsive.
đ· Drip Tip & Glass
The drip tip is⊠fine. I donât hate it. But I do miss the original Blaze drip tips with the red, black, and gold options. Those had character. Bring them back, TCC. You know we want them.
As for the glass situation: The straight glass fits perfectly, no issues. The bubble glass, however, gave me grief. It simply refused to cooperate with the top O-ring. Maybe I got a stubborn one, maybe itâs the fitment. Either way, it was more work than it shouldâve been.
The packaging is slick, with that signature ThunderCloud attention to detail. Solid metal case? Yes please.
đ Final Thoughts: Goat-Worthy or Not?
The Blaze SOLO2 RTA is a flavour-first, leak-proof, single coil champion thatâs perfect for vapers who want a streamlined yet powerful RTA experience. Despite the minor hiccup with the bubble glass and the deck being a little picky about coil height, I found very little to complain about.
