Here we go, herd. The Requiem Pro Tool Kit doesn’t mess about. No pink fluff, no bloated box trying to act tough — just clean, compact Spanish engineering wrapped up in a case that actually fits in a pocket without making you look like you’re smuggling a brick.
First Impressions
This thing is tight — in the best way. Every tool has its spot, everything stays put, and packing it back in is weirdly satisfying. Compared to the Bonza kit, it’s leaner and cleaner, like someone actually thought about what builders need on the go.
What’s Inside (and What Works)
The screwdriver? A champ. The tweezers — both ceramic and stainless — are aligned, grippy, and reliable. The coil brush and jig stick do their jobs, and the coil leg trimmer continues to be a builder’s best friend.
The wire cutters are smaller than the Bonza’s and the handles are a bit short, but honestly, it fits the theme. This is a travel kit, not a garage tool chest. They still cut wire just fine and don’t look like they came from a toddler’s toy set — so that’s a win.
One Missing Piece (But There’s a Workaround)
Unlike the Bonza kit, the Requiem doesn’t include a 510 stand. Normally I’d grumble, but if you’re already buying your atomizers from ThunderCloud (and you should be), you’ll get a 510 stand in the box with every RDA or RTA anyway. So really, it’s not a loss — just something to note if you’re used to building with one.
And the Scissors… Again
Yep. Same dull scissors as before. Still struggling to cut cotton, still taking up space. It’s the only tool in the kit that makes me sigh out loud. Everything else? Spot on.
Final Thoughts
This one’s the better kit, no question. It’s more refined, packs down beautifully, and ditches the weird colour choices. If ThunderCloud swaps out the scissors in a future revision, I’ll happily slap a five-star rating on it. For now?
